On June 25, 2025 the EU Trans European Network of Transport, TEN T, celebrated its 20 years of coordinated transport corridor development to every corner of Europe. Supported by the EU Connecting Europe Facility, CEF, Nine Core Network corridors and a network of several Comprehensive Corridors of road, air, rail and waterways is connecting logistic hubs, (air)ports and 420 urban nodes transporting goods and people all across Europe. The first Hydrogen Valleys are starting to connect the first dots along these corridors in Synergy with clean energy supply with first clean mobile applications, and complementary refuelling infrastructure.
Galway is the most recent urban node and most Western tip of this network, on the North-Sea Rhine Mediterranean Network, that currently includes only four Hydrogen Valleys; only SH2AMROCK: Galway, in Ireland, TH2ICINO: Lombardy region, in Italy, LuxHyVal in Luxemburg and IMAGHyNE: Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, in France.
